　　Education is about transforming lives. At MIS Shekou, we want our students to develop a love of learning; to aim high academically, to embrace all the opportunities of a vast co-curricular

　　programme and for students to acquire the skills and responsibilities that are intrinsic to good leadership and global citizenship.

　　School Leadership校方領導

　　Sabrina Neil

　　Sabrina joined MIS, as a founding member of staff, in August 2018 and after her responsibilities as the Academic Deputy Head in the Juniors school, she assumed the Head of Juniors position in August 2021. She is passionate about high quality teaching and learning of the Juniors curriculum and promoting global citizenship through the teaching of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).

　　Sabrina has, also, taught in both Key Stage 1 and 2 classrooms, enabling her to provide a wealth of leadership experience and knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum. She studied for her degree in Primary Education with QTS at the University of Brighton and has recently completed the COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Aspiring Heads professional qualification.

　　工作經歷：Sabrina作為創始員工之一，于2018年8月加入曼校就任小學部學術副校長，隨后于2021年8月擔任小學部校長，她熱衷于追求高質量的小學課程教學，并通過教授國際小學課程(IPC)促進全球公民意識的提升。

　　Sabrina曾在英國的小學擔任助理校長和學術協調員，并在KS1和KS2兩個教學階段進行課堂教學，這段經歷使她積累了豐富的領導經驗和英國小學課程知識。她在布萊頓大學攻讀小學教育學位并取得QTS執照，最近完成了COBIS(英國國際學校委員會)校長培訓專業認證。

　　Ms Miranda Li

　　· Miranda is a well-renowned educationalist and has over 13-year experience in leading and managing Chinese-International Curriculum Integration. 李校長熱衷于教學工作，在中國與國際教育中的教學與管理經驗已有13年時間。

　　· Based in Shekou, Ms Li has developed a rich understanding of the needs and ambitions of its families and communities. 她對蛇口社區很熟悉，對小學階段孩子們和家庭在教育方面的需求十分了解。

　　· Moreover, as an Innovator within the International Education Teaching Centre, Miranda has successfully trained many Chinese teachers to teach and deliver an exciting International Curriculum. 此外，作為國際教育教學中心的高級講師，她曾培訓了許多來自從事國際教育的中國教師，并提升他們更好地在教學中運用國際教學理念，創建以學生為中心的課堂文化。

　　Two thousand years ago the Roman Educator, Quintilian, wrote:“Virtus preceptoris est ingeniorum notare discriminia.” “The excellence of the teacher is to identify the differences in talents of pupils.”

　　We strive for our students to become global citizens. Intrinsic to this is the cultivation of both

　　Outside of academics, manners and the development of character lies at the heart of what we do. Communication and perspective is central to global citizenship; we encourage and guide our students to do the following:

　　Developing interests發展興趣

　　Our extensive co-curricular program is underpinned by the aspiration of wanting each student to discover a hobby or interest which they have a passion for and one in which their skills and potential are maximized. For a student, ‘being good in a given subject or activity,’ develops a sense of confidence and self-worth which is a key for successful learning.

　　By the age of 11, all of our primary pupils will have developed in the following ways:
